One of the world's most scenic treks, this spectacular ~84m loop goes up and over 10 high alpine passes and contours around the massifs of Nevados Jirishanca, Yerupaja, and Sula Grande. From the epic crossing of the two high altitude passes of Trapecio and San Antonio to the intensely cool and famous valley of Tres Lagunas to the cheerful and amusing interaction with a man on a horse we dubbed Chicharon Beel with a small scruffy dog named Chavo; I thoroughly enjoyed this trek with two good buddies, Bobcat and Stephan.
